Joan Quinn Bio


Joan Agajanian Quinn graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in Education and a minor in Journalism. She was the West Coast Editor of Andy Warhol’s Interview magazine and the Society Editor of Hearst’s L.A. Herald-Examiner. Her work with Conde Nast included staff positions on C.N. Traveler and House and Garden.
Joan was the longest sitting member appointed to the California Arts Council, served two terms on the Beverly Hills Arts Commission and the Beverly Hills Architctural Commission and recently completed two terms on the California Film Commission She continues her work as a Trustee of the Armenian Library and Museum of America in Boston, the board of public television KCET's Women's Council and the Armenian Armenian Arts Alliance.
Her cable show the Joan Quinn Proflles is seen throughout California as well as New York, North Carolina, Massachusetts, Wisconsin and Minnesota. She interviews people in the arts and entertainment fields. Joan writes a column in Art Talk and Art Revue magazine. as well as freelancing for several local and national Armenian papers.
